Ann Crowell Memorial Dinner

ACMF
Ann Crowell is fondly remembered by all who loved her as a dedicated friend, consistent community servant, and phenomenal midwife.  Through the many years that Ann served the Dallas/ Fort Worth community, she took on many midwifery clients at little or no cost to help expecting families without the financial means to achieve the birth they desired.
The Ann Crowell Memorial Fund was established to continue Ann’s legacy by offsetting the financial burden of lab work and supplies accrued for clients enduring hardships that the applying midwife would otherwise take at no cost.

Under current guidelines, the scholarship amount is $500 per birth, the applying midwife will agree to provide pro-bono services for the client, and available funds will be sent directly to the midwife at 37 weeks gestation. Applying midwives must be licensed CPMs and current on neonatal resuscitation.
The Ann Crowell Memorial Fund does not have a selection committee, if a midwife and client meet the critera and funds are available, funds will be designated for that client.
Funds will be managed by Birth Texas, a 501(c)(3) organization, and all donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
Online application is scheduled to launch on January 1, following preliminary fundraising efforts.
